Stardust Poem by Richard D Remler

Stardust

Rating: 5.0

......

the blue like sapphire rainbows spin
about the quiet of the bay,

and though I try to close my eyes
I cannot turn away.

they paint their welcome through the
dark and lonely clouds of gray,

and the breathless sigh of morning rise
beckons me to stay.

the shadow willows reach their
palmy arms into the sky,

unwilling to just let the
neverwinds slip by.

their green and velvet fingertips
dance through the silken breeze,

and share a warmth and wonder
with the solemn willow trees.

the blue-eyed grasses toss whispers
to the sparrow and the lark,

as twilight plays her stardust strings
in grande FarFarField Park.
