Starry Night Poem by Simon Collins

Starry Night

Rating: 4.5

Suspend me in this night
As my mother
I am your unborn,
My black soul is fluid
Floating in the warm light
Of your ethereal womb
Awaiting birth of my heart
As a sacred star
To become a celestial Prince
Unfolding my spinning galaxy
Blazing a billion pin points of brilliance
Reaching a crescendo
Of infinite silence
As one
Serene
In the universal presence
Of the divine
