Stay At Home Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Stay At Home

Rating: 5.0

Lion cooked the food and washed the utensils too,
Cleaned the floor, doors and windows of the zoo,
The lioness didn't awake on his shoo,
Back to his cage he was with a goo,
Poor lion was shifted to quarantine dirtier than loo.

A very entertaining write. Virus can attack anytime and anywhere. We must be vigilant and make efforts to prevent the spread of.the virus. A well crafted poem.

Where does one go during this lockdown, but the four corners of his house! The lion within me also feels restrained, and unable to act at maximum potential. When I think of stepping out, like the lion I am, I am beaten by sticks and canes. My long time friend Sanjeev Nanda, thinks of this current corona virus pandemic/ lockdown, as a global extinction. Let's hope the lion doesn't bite the dust as well.
