father!
how can you, in our lives allow a serpent?
my being here at home changed
I am treated like a mere servant.
I know in her you saw an angel
but how can she be one when she
doesn't know the lord's temple.
I hate home because of all this abuse
She hits me, "he's a bad boy" that's her excuse.
We were happy before she came, dad
Now she's here and am always sad.
where she came from, am sure they don't miss her
The life she gives to me is not fair
She have no motherly love to share
help me dad, don't just stand there and stare.
Very touching poem story shared in here.....If dad sees it, probably he will act otherwise
THANKS. your comments are always positive and inspiring and so are your writings.
In this poem the stepmother doesn't love the boy, on the other hand she treats him as sevant and does abuse him. It is really painful. Dear Tsireledzo you have so touchingly and astutely inscribed this event. It may be quoted.... father! how can you, in our lives allow a serpent? my being here at home changed I am treated like a mere servant.
