Still To Gain Strength Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Still To Gain Strength

Rating: 5.0

Being weak stem or weak branch of plant,
Growing wild beside green field of light,
As dawn has appeared suddenly in love,
We have grown with green beauty and joy.

Tenderness of love is sprinkled in mercy,
We have grown to offer our morning worship,
God has invited us through dawn to watch,
Beautiful festival of nature is witnessed here.

Getting fresh touch of gentle light we have felt,
Necessity of wisdom of God is important for all,
Reviving values of greenness within us strongly,
Still to gain spiritual strength we have grown.

Certainly we have hope, future and planning,
Without greenness and purity we cannot sustain,
We are pure; we have refreshed air and moment,
We have grown for getting sure enlightenment.

A green Earth is a blessing bestowed to us by God! We should try to preserve this greenness by all means! Unfortunately man destroys this pristine beauty of the Earth! We need to preserve this unpolluted fresh air and the vegetation for the posterity too! A poem giving one a feel of freshness!
