Stings. Poem by Dislocated Heart

Stings.

I miss her,
as if the sun never was.
The light could never be.
I need her,
as my heart withers.

Buried underneath grounds,
only you could help me now.
sadly, you won't hear me.

I whisper in hopes,
that you'll come back to me,
but it seems as if..
you were never mines to hold.

Here I lay,
frighten and afraid.
hoping you'll walk in again..
with your presence.
who am I kidding?
You're in his arms.
and I've got nothing to show.

I've emptied out my soul.
poured my last remaining hope.
gave you my heart with it's very own beat.
as you pranced off.. and away..
with a goodbye that stings me each day.

with the Good bye...
that still stings me Today.
