Stolen Property Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Stolen Property

Rating: 5.0

Intellectual property.
Often to be claimed stolen,
From the ones who are...
Skillful plagiarists.
Without known to prove,
On their own to have shown...
An ability to be innovative.
Unique or introducing concepts,
Found to have been discovered.
When those who pioneered,
Paths to carve in directions...
That left many laughing.
Yet today?
Those who endeavored,
To go it alone to adventure.
Are seldom revealed,
By the ones awarded...
For their hidden talents,
To hide and conceal the truth!
With a knowing this to produce,
Is not a gift...
They have been born with to do.
