Storm Poem by angel lockheart

Storm

Waves crash within the sea,
And birds dance above the shore,
Glistening fish break the glassy surface,
And rainbow sea shells grace the ocean floor.

Reflected in the water,
Is the blazing sun above,
Lighting up the world,
And filling the sea with molten gold.

The sky, it starts to darken,
Not letting through any light,
As rain starts beating down,
Flooding all in sight.

The wind starts to thrash,
And the ground begins to quiver,
As thunder rumbles through the earth,
And lighting rips up the heavens.

The sea begins getting livid,
As waves now tumble down,
Drowning out any noise,
Beating back every sound.

This composition made by nature
Will last, only a moment in time.
And will only remain a snap shot
In the storybook of life,
An inkling of a memory,
Where the forces of nature
Come together as one,
And work in concert
To paint a masterpiece
Of the secrets in the world around us.
