Strangers Poem by David Harris

Strangers

The world is full of strangers
each one is a potential friend,
if we could only get to know them
we’d have a gift heaven sent.
Even our enemies could be a friend
if we took the time to get to know them.
Like a lot of people in our busy society,
time is never on our side to see.
If we lived at a slower pace,
maybe those strangers
that pass by us everyday
could be a friend one day.
