Street dog love

Hindu belief goes further
With kind gesture and liberal offer
The dogs are fed with good food
Their eyes speak everything but we have understood well
From childhood
I had love for animals and birds
I used to serve milk to dogs in street
They used watch eagerly await
I was always reminded
"The dogs are having last birth before they are dead"
They shall take birth as human beings
The fear was likely to bring some change in mind
So everybody in India takes this stand firmly
The first bread prepared at home is offered to dogs and cows daily
Even though the dog bites are on increase
We have no cruel feelings for them
It is purely religious belief
In mind, it provides relief
That some charitable and good work is carried out
such charitable work is never talked about
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
It is purely religious belief In mind, it provides relief That some charitable and good work is carried out such charitable work is never talked about
