Street Lights Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Street Lights

Emotions meet briefy,
Growing in depth.
Exchanging signs of love as
Bitter trails of electricity.
Merely accumulating every thought that brightly flashes.

Growing in depth.
Tossing and turning with each flick of the eye.
An electric tsunami.
Transferring buses.
Once on the outside, now inside looking in.

Tossing and turning with each flick of the eye.
Glowing. Passing.
Bright colored particles.
Captured in dull blonde cartons.

Glowing. Passing.
A light turned red.
A light turned yellow.
A light turned green.
Emotions met briefly
