Strictly Satire #6 Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Strictly Satire #6

Cool and collected.
By far one of the best examples in management.
He's rose in rank as far as superiors, since I first worked along side of him when he was my crewleader.
Each morning when he'd come in, he'd log into the system
and start each day with a cigarette and a cup of coffee.
Anything that he knew, he'd make sure that you knew.
Easily relatable and full of knowledge.
One of the few I didn't mind training me how to do the job.
He loved to read, mostly Dan Brown novels.
A few other associated authors here and there.
There was always an encouraging word.
Back then, the crew wasn't as bad as it is now.
There was a sense of pride back then, that is rarely seen exacerbated now days.
I remember the first time I met him, he took an interest in the way that I worked. I couldn't have imagined back then that I would have worked for him exactly three years later. Til this day we still keep in touch, laughing and joking about the things that go on here
