Woke up to birds singing
After a restless night
Of an owl hooting
Coffee first thing morning

Forgot 'bout meditation
And books of inspiration
Couch potatoed and surfed the net
Found Gunnar's mantra owe him debt

Went for walk in morning sun
Cycled and had lots of fun
Played tennis with a woman
And she's now my greatest fan

Health's never been better
Awesome for this elder
And thanks to Gunnar
I'm now a winner
