Succession Of Figureheads

As far as we can see ahead
are The Third, The Fifth and The Seventh,
Charley, Willy and George.

The nearest queen in sight is Charlotte,
unsaid as The First,
until far in the foo*
there's a Two.

349 years we had to wait,
I've just reckoned,
for Lilibet* The Second.
