Suicide(Saddest Tail Ever Told) Poem by Brandon Hoeg

Suicide(Saddest Tail Ever Told)

Rating: 3.9

They say before you commit suicide, you should reflect back on your life ride
so i lie hear as i start to cry tears, thinking back to my fears, forget thinking i'd rather just die here
but before i take eternal rest, i sit down at my desk, and write a fresh, good-bye letter, saying how i wish my life was better
i read back to my self what i wrote, about how i wanna croque, ive always been good at writing sad notes, i sketched a smiley face on it as an ironic joke
ive lost all hope, and my heart is broke, did i ever have any reason to live? nope, so i stand on the chair and i grab the lovely rope, tie it tight around my throat, time for the choke
but before i jump and end this marvelous life i had, i wanna say good-bye to my drunk child beating dad, thanks for taking away everything that ive ever grabbed,
thanks for turning every good thing bad, and every happy thing sad, thanks for putting me through this, slicing my wrists using your fists to hit me right where it hurts
and now the beatings worked, im gonna go in the dirt, ride in a hurse, i dont think you could have been any worse. ive been through the positions ive fought
through the submissions, ive thought about my life and im done with the visions, i committed suicide to join my mom in heaven the only one who ever listenned.

This was an amazing poem. You captured what people go through when they want to kill themselves. I love this poem.
