Summer Special
In bright clouds
Of high noon temperature
No sign of rain drops
No sign of moisture even
A tree-
So lonely to be spotted
Standing alone
Like an abandoned commodity
Seemingly weeping
Such was its position
No companion nearby
Shedding leaves
One by one
Living life
By branches alone
So thin and lame
Still surviving-
Looking more or less-
A skeleton
With slender body-
All of a sudden
Just in time-
A crow in flight
Landed in its branch-
Looking here and there
Collecting fellows-
Only to find
Minutes later
Flock of crows
In jubilant mood-
Everything changed
A blessing in disguise-
Slender branches
Begin to find
Beautiful leaves-
Rapid growth of
Evergreen vegetation-
Entire tree
Drenched in rain!
How can we name this?
Summer rainfall or
Summer special?
