Surreal Compilation - Poem by Vijay Sai

Another day
Life moving
As usual
Nothing so special-
Could not remember
Nothing other than
Staying in home
Chatting with my
Family members
Not a sign
Of this particular happening
About to be
In few seconds-
From now
But in reality to
Have been into this
Strange incident-
Not so ordinary
To be put in words-
So real and spine chilling
To this author
Narrating these sequences-
In short to say
So much into this
Dangerous phenomenon-
Where all of a sudden-
The tectonic plates
Shivering in all might-
Force so much brutal
Words can never define this-
Exclusively felt
To the person
Penning these verses-
Such as the ferocity
Of this shock-
The earth crumbling
Like bitten pieces
Of giant Marie biscuits-
Within no time
To think what's going on-
Voices of desperation
Hearing all over-
Nothing more to pen and paper-
Than to conclude-
Earth caving in
So suddenly
Revealing it's darker face
Pitch of black
Almost everywhere
No way to escape
Nature's fairy tale-
Only to remind myself-
No one could ever
Be spared
From laws of nature
And that
The end of life
Is a surreal event!
