Sunday Sonnet Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Sunday Sonnet

Rating: 5.0

Thinking of turning my computer
But the scent of my first morning coffee
Socked me in the nose
Boy, I needed it after waking at two in
The morning after a severe nightmare
Where I was swallowed by a bacon cheeseburger
And then, drowned in diet Coke
Now, I want to go back to sleep!
And I needed to be on time for church
I decided not to turn on my computer,
Instead, I started breakfast
Maybe, when I come back, I'll take a nap

A very witty poem about nightmares, LeeAnn. I think that Jung would have a lot more fun with this one than Freud.
