E-arly sweet morning rays
L-et you wake from sleep;
O-pening both your eyes
I-n leaving the night so deep.
S-weet morning that you meet makes you feel so fine;
A-mong the things it brings is the warmer sunshine.

S-weet morning that you greet,
A-long with the beautiful dawn
N-ovember twenty-ninth
T-ries to keep you from yawn.
I-t's a wonderful new day,
A-s the beacon is rising;
G-et up from sound slumber,
O-pen your heart to sweet morning.
