Sweet Poison Of Mine - Poem by LINET SABASTIAN

Sweet he is, a great story teller
Sweet words that keep you attentive
Loving words that keep your heart glowing
How he makes you feel so special
Ooh sweet poison of mine!

How he says his heart desires you
How he intrigues you with his actions
He is a great soap opera actor
He makes you feel like his only queen
Ooh sweet poison of mine!

King of queens he is
He desires all women he can
The world of women is too big for him
He can not make a choice
Ooh sweet poison of mine!

You make me feel special for a moment
You make many others feel the same
King of many queens who is your queen
How you play with my emotions and hurt my feelings
Ooh sweet poison of mine!

Sweet poison of mine, make a choice.

Topic(s) of this poem: love and life

    Sweet poison...

    Love deception.
    Affectation juxtaposed with affection.

    Nicely written.

there is sort of wistful and ironic funny side to the poem
while its dead serious in its content, it speaks with gentle persuasion and maturity..very nice
