Rain falls in shining drops
Across dales and meadows
With cool wind blowing it
Knocks at doors and windows
Raindrops hang onto fronds
Making a chain of diamond
They make soothing sound
Falling upon rivers and ponds
Raindrops fall on tiny buds
Make them to nod and swing
They dance on the flat roofs
To mind much comfort bring
From heaven they bring love
And peace to the parched earth
To save people from the heat of
Summer they take many births
