Sweet Seduction Poem by Jesse Potter

Sweet Seduction

The night it beckons
As a temptress it calls
Low and enticing
Into its trap my weary mind falls
Seduced by the thunder, the air and the rain
Its all i can do
To keep myself sane
When the lightning carresses and tickles the sky
My spirit yearns, to be free and fly
The thunder booms, like the drums of war
I let the rumble shake my very core
The rain it pours, and washes away
All of the anger i have stored away
As i am overcome by natures production
My pain is ended by its sweet seduction
