Sweetest Of Dreams - Poem by mitchell basham

Sweetest of dreams

I dreamed of a blond blue eyed
Beauty, she appeared in my
Dream like a flash of light
Bursting through my
Curtains

Her eyes softened my heart
Healed my scares as well as
Take away my pain

Happiness is what I felt joy
Is what I experienced love
Is what I have gained

As I woke I realised that
This dream was actually
Reality as soon as I seen
The angel in my arms

Who would of thought
That a simple dream
Could open my eyes
To this reality
