Take You On A Journey
Let me take you on a journey,
Without going anywhere,
On a tour of the imagination,
Where travel is in your head,
It can take you into places,
Where your mind has never been,
See things for the first time,
Others time and time again,
On a roads that lead nowhere,
And some that never end,
Into many new adventures,
Some on trips to déjà vu,
Meeting all kinds of people,
Some familiar and others new,
But the secret of this journey,
Is that, its really up to you,
you have got the destiny,
Because its only in a dream.
Imagination is the forerunner in our every day existence, taking us anywhere we poets decide we want to go. Our minds are filled with memories we have lived and imagined, going places through our mind's time tunnel anything is possible in life. Wonderful dream-like quality throughout this poem, enjoyed it! Really like this, I've always believed that the only way time travel will ever be possible is through the mind, every memory is there just waiting to be returned to. A great poem. '
