Taking Me Down To Be There With Her Poem by dead before I died

Taking Me Down To Be There With Her

Rating: 5.0

Pale, cold
in shrouds of satin,
she lies there still
in her metal coffin,
as they lay her down
into frozen earth,
taking me down
to be there with her

For in my dreams
she will come for me tonight.
In my dreams!
I will see her eyes!
in my dreams! ,
til the morning sun.
Only to leave me
when my dreams are gone!

and
taking
me
down
to be there with her.
She's taking me down
to sleep forever!
Buried deep
beneath frozen earth,
Only in death
can I be there with her!

In a black silk suit
on sheets of cotton, .
lying still in a metal coffin,
lowering him down
into frozen earth,

.......she's taken me down
to be there with her.!
