Talisman And Adulterous Dreams Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Talisman And Adulterous Dreams

Rating: 5.0

The gypsy mistress
Reads mystical cards
And delineates the future.
With a conspiracy of dark magic,
She entrances my soul
Navigating a life of sorrow.
Her earlobes are ornamented
With gold earrings
That cast a soft glow in the moonlight
Until I’m hypnotized
With adoration
For her undeniable charms
And her power
To shape destinies.
I beg her for a talisman,
I have to make
An arduous journey
Through a valley
Of thieves and intense heat.
I promise to return
And bow to her
Like an obedient slave
If her eyes can
See me through
The streams of blood
I expect to swim.
She promises me
I’ll survive
To kiss her slowly
In the forbidden night
Of adulterous dreams.

I have many a night filled with adulterous dreams. They make life full of great things: mystery, beauty and innocence as well as a kind of power. I hope yours are filed with great beauty.

How much did it cost to cross her palm with silver, Uriah, I hope she was worth it. Sweet dreams. Love Ernestine XXX
