Tanka - Spring Chill Poem by john tiong chunghoo

Tanka - Spring Chill

spring chill
like a snail, i recline
from the breeze that steals into my neck
new leaf shots inch on
every part of the tree

inspired by

In the spring chill,
as I slept with sword by pillow,
deep at night
my little sister came to me
in dreams from home.
