The pain of living
Too overwhelming,
heavy heart cries for mercy
tears and loud paroxysms
in the privacy of the bathroom
somehow removes blockages and release energy-
Mind clears, pain lifts,
Regain composure and feel
A deepening of awareness and being-
Inseparable part of life’s journey-
to smell the Roses,
bear with the thorns.
a good cry helps me reclaim
my innate resilience.
