Tears Poem by Mamta Agarwal

Tears

The pain of living
Too overwhelming,
heavy heart cries for mercy
tears and loud paroxysms
in the privacy of the bathroom
somehow removes blockages and release energy-
Mind clears, pain lifts,
Regain composure and feel
A deepening of awareness and being-
Inseparable part of life’s journey-
to smell the Roses,
bear with the thorns.
a good cry helps me reclaim
my innate resilience.

Peaks & Valleys construct & obstruct our lives, and there be little negotiating this issue of destiny....It is, however, our reaction & turn-around response to these ever-existing events, that dictate whether or not we are able to keep our foundation in tack with the help of Faith, prayer & self-empowerment, all of which are our keystones in enabling us to build & rebuild upon our base foundation for a lifetime. You generate much verve, and magnetized verbage, here...all of which works nicely in creating this well written piece of lit.Very Nice Work, Mamta. ~ FjR ~ ..08-08..

it is true that we should not burden our minds with loads of unpleasant things.. tears will always clear burdens from mind and a healer a calmer... thoughtful one. Rema
