Tears fall
Geoffrey come with my film edited
-feel will be, a first timer, mother
-worried and afraid with
-tummy bulged; swinging on hammock
-with the wind of news,
-and things seen, in years of the bygone
I recall my village
-my parents, my blood
-though by love, a mixture
-accepted, but enforced at start
-when entered, took over Sepahan,
-with their swords, invaders
-for looting and raping,
-bloodshed…
Fell worst part as being colonised
- (By Arabs, and a faith's slogans)
-banning Dad's Ancestors
-of their rights to speak
-unless in Arabic ('Kill your tongue! ')
-destroyed their culture
That takes me to Mi'kmaq's
-and recent incidents
-the young men carrying a flag
- (British invaders')
-after long history
- (many years)
-to claim:
- 'Here is British Colony! '
I feel pain of labour!
Then I read of Khadr
- 'His forceful confession
-to have killed as does a murder
-though it was in defence and as a teenager! '
I find me in Khujand's KGB
-kept within the thick walls of basement,
-they torture, force victims to confess; feel the pains!
-then observe governors, store bombs, scare us to govern
-tears fall on my cheeks while reading the comments
