Tears From You - Poem by sarah polcyn

Every time i think of you,
That tear runs down my cheek.
The same tear every time.
A cold, dying feeling sweeps across my face because,
I find,
That im alone.
You left me a pretty last little memory,
You sat in a chair staring as I said goodbye for the last.
the last hug, a bribe,
the last kiss, a lie,
the last smile, a bit shy.
The point for these,
May be a tease,
But something you'll surely understand.
The hate in you,
And the love in me,
Will be my last true feeling if you never come back.
But with me,
You see,
The sorrow you left in me,
And the little tear you gave me.
The the love I gave to you,
From my sane small heart (still mending)
Is in your hollow shell.
Which gave me the hint,
That I wanted more,
Than you could give to me.
