Reaching into moments of yesterday, leaving the world
behind, not wanting to lose sight of you my dear, as
you travel beyond this earthly horizon without me.

Tears now frozen in time, melting only when rhythms
of our once love reverberate in depths of this heart,
totally moving through moments and music.

Keeping time with our love, not ever wanting to let
it go, holding fast to it as I fall asleep in the
reality of what we used to have and have no more.
