Tell Me Poem by Valerie Dohren

Tell Me

Rating: 5.0

Tell me (whispered softly)
of the sorrows that you bear
Tell me (whispered softly)
of your heartache and your care
Tell me (I will listen)
if you have a mind to speak
Tell me (I will listen)
and I will not think you weak

Trust me (I won't judge you)
for, you know, I'll understand
Trust me (I won't judge you)
and I'll always hold your hand
Trust me (I am here now)
just to help you if I can
Trust me (I am here now)
to then maybe make a plan

Hear me (in your sadness)
please don't ever turn away
Hear me (In your sadness)
for with you I'll always stay
Call me (if you need me)
don't be out there all alone
Call me (if you need me)
won't you please pick up the phone

Thank you John. Struggling to find my way round PH format now, too complicated. Preferred how it used to be!

This is a perfect poem. I love the way it flows. And I love the theme. It is so full of compassion

Heart touching poem, sweetest rendered,5 Stars. I have enjoyed this bit melancholic poem but with greatest content in these very precious words, most touching!
