Come tell me a story of longing
a story of us
about long ago when we still laughed together
and you loved to play with the child in me...

from before the story lost its thread
and the child got lost in a
dark wood of words, revelations
and accusations...

when the child was still beautiful
and you were the hero who
time and again saved her and
lead her back into the sun...

All I have now is the longing...
a word on its own without any
answer
and the burning question in my
hungry eyes
