Thank you, God
For this lovely day
I truly enjoyed it
In every single way.

It was not exciting
Just simple things
I felt as though
I had Angel wings.

A little gardening
Some cooking too
All my parts working
So I must thank you.

I am very lucky
I still live at home
Because at age 77
I continue to roam.

Not put in a home
With constant care
My husband, Randy
And I continue to share.

We share the work load
We share travel still
Although we are ready
With an updated will.

Our lives are simple
On our country sod
I need to say often
Thank you God!
