Thankful For Snow Poem by Jim Yerman

May we be blessed to acknowledge all the wonders in our life
that have, for us, thus far accrued…
and to begin each day with a word of thanks…
and thoughts of gratitude.

Today I'm thankful for snow…
for this simple reason why…
ever since I was a child
I though it was ice cream falling from the sky.

And even today when I see snow
I'm reminded of a time when I was young
and I'd run around the yard
trying to catch ice cream on my tongue.
