J-oyful and thankful mind
E-xpresses a courteous thought;
R-efreshing words of gratitude
A-re always gladly sought.
L-ive with a thankful mind, thinking not of quip;
D-on't let the better manners and righteous conduct slip.

A-im to have a thankful mind
R-egardless of the weather;
A-lmighty God is oftentimes
N-earer to the thanksgiver.
D-evil's inappreciative attitude
I-s already left behind;
A-llow your life to possess a happy thankful mind.
