Thanksgiving Thanks Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Thanksgiving Thanks

Rating: 5.0

Thank you, Lord
For mine eyes
To thus see
The morning
Sun rising
Evening
The stars moon

Thank you, Lord
For ears
To thus hear
All birds singing
Children laughing
And God smiling

Thank you, Lord
For my nose
Thus smelling
The fragrance
Of the rose

Thank you, Lord
For my health
Such great friends
Family
Good life

A heart full of gratitude can always see and feel the wonders of existence. A lovely poem beautifully crafted and and we'll expressed.

Yes! ! ! ! We should carry a heart of gratitude with us wherever we go, whatever we do. We have so much we have gotten so accustomed to that we never think about until accident, loss of job, or bad choices take them away. I miss like crazy the comfort received from hugging my children! top marks
