That Missing Piece Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

That Missing Piece

Rating: 4.0

My world has completely changed now,
You're no longer part of my scene,
My life has been lifted upside down,
I'm living in a dream.
Like a beautiful jigsaw puzzle,
A part is now missing I fear,
If only I could get it back,
To see your face appear.
You held us all together,
You made our lives complete,
Without you now,
It's not the same,
To get through this,
Is a difficult feat.
But I know that we'll be together,
Somewhere, somehow, someday,
And I will be there waiting,
No longer will my sky's be grey.
