Let the poetry dance and expose what I could not tell
A heart beat to lips like a sound wave of a distant bell
Dance sweetheart naked here on slipping floor of my heart
Wear colors of my poetry you can make it a shell,
Let the Angels be enchanted let the universe be trembled
Let the sky be shy let it snatch what we listen to and tell
Let the moon and stars break their too old silence
Let the Milky Way throw it in the ancient deepest well
Let the earth smile and talk to Venus in whispers
This talk can extinguish your old fire of the hell
Flowers will spring in the wide space and their scent
The spreading universe will contract for its next spell
Lo! Goddess of nature reveals the hidden secret of love
That I couldn't listen from anyone to anyone I can't tell.
شاعری رقص کرے رقص میں کہدے وہ بات
رہ گئ تھی جو ادھوری میری سن لے وہ بات
فرش پہ دل کے وہ ناچے تو ہو عریاں بالکل
رنگ اشعار کے جھلکیں جو پہن لے وہ بات
دم بخود ہوئیں ملائک تو مچے عرش پہ دھوم
آسماں جھینپ سا جاۓ اور اچک لے وہ بات
چاند تارے بھی زرا اپني خاموشی توڑیں
کہکشاں شرم کے آنچل میں چھپا دے وہ بات
مسکراۓ یہ زمیں کانوں میں زھرہ کے کہے
آگ بجھ جاۓ تیری تو جو سمجھ لے وہ بات
پھول کھل جائں خلاؤں میں بھی خوشبو پھیلے
پھیلنے والی گھڑی بھر کو سمٹ لے وہ بات
دیوی فطرت کی کبھی راز یہ آافشاء کر دے
جو نہ کھ پاؤں کسی سے کبھی کھ دے وہ بات
कविता नृत्य करे नाच के कह दे वह बात
रह गई थी जो अधूरी मेरी सुन ले वह बात
फ़र्ष पर मन के अगर नाचे तो खुल कर नाचे
रंग तो काव्य के झलकें जो पहन ले वह बात
दम बखुद होएं फ़रिश्ते वह मचे अर्श पे धूम
आस्मां झेंप सा जाए और उचक ले वह बात
चाँद तारे भी ज़रा अपनीखामोशी तोड़ें
कहकशां शर्म के आँचल में छुपा दे वह बात
मुस्कुराए यह जमीं कानों में ज़ोहरा के कहे
आग बुझ जाए तेरी तू जो समझ ले वह बात
फूल खिल जाएं ख़लाओं में भीख़ुशबू फैले
फैलने वाली घडी भर को सिमट ले वह बात
देवी फितरत की कभी राज़ ये अफ्शा कर दे
जो ना कह पाऊं किसी से कभी कह दे वह बात
