Is there a way,
That we could convey,
A message to those who are lost,
Perhaps today,
You could have the say,
What price can a relationship cost.

A stupid mistake,
Can make us forsake,
Those we normally hold dear,
What does it take,
A friendship to break,
By showing them, we don't want them near,

Was it really that bad,
Or are you just sad,
They betrayed what you classed as trust,
Though you feel mad,
Think, what you had,
Could it be you are being unjust.

Our strive for perfection,
Has many a complexion,
What we seek we will not always find,
Rather than dejection,
Look for correction,
To reality we sometimes are blind.

To cast that first stone,
Do you need to atone?
Falling out's like a hot burning ember,
It becomes overblown,
Then it is shown,
The heat you no longer remember.

Try to reflect,
On the long-term effect,
Let the errors open your eyes,
Don't leave lives wrecked,
With solutions connect,
It never feels good to chastise.

If it's eating you inside,
Making you feel snide,
It will affect you as long as you live,
Heal that divide,
By searching inside,
