The Affliction Of Waterloo Faye Poem by Kewayne Wadley

The Affliction Of Waterloo Faye

It was just for one night,
There was only one road she could take,
That summer seemed to last forever,
She fought against it for so long,
But Being her, it was the best she ever tasted, the sensation was more than a minute, as it contunued over and over again,
The urge was overwhelming,
Her voice quaked with every thought,
Her thoughts were frantic,
Reluctantly she gave into them,
Good fortune of such a favor,
Mishaps that boon contretemps,
The way the sun shone reminded her,
Thought grew older, as time grew shorter,
She clung to the moments she knew as bliss,
It had been a while since she seen the sun shine in such a way,
Theory became reality, as her mind made it real,
She stayed awake while the stars began to sleep,
Her breath fastened,
Her breath deepened,
She grew forlorn to the touch of her dream,
Helpless,
She watched as the door closed in front of her as things were never the same,
Never again
