The Angel Of Day Poem by Daniel Brick

The Angel Of Day

Sunlight is too dense to grasp
the appearance of the Angel of Day.
She slips through those heavy shafts
and remains invisible to material eyes.
She carries her invisibility far and wide
in the Day Realm, absorbing every sound
and harmonizing each one before it enters
the cosmic harmonium which envelops all
of space, transforming the din and fret
of time into peace of eternity. Listen to
Bach's PRELUDES AND FUGUES and you will be
in the Angel's presence. Or listen intently
to the ten PIANO SONATAS of Alexander Scriabin,
and you will become one with the ascending sounds.

Ah, tis a lovely day when I tour the list of new poems and find another treasure by PoemHunter's Daniel Brick! ! ! Yes! ! ! And now I have been challenged to expand my musical literacy. I wonder if youtube can help me. Bach and Scriabin here I come!

A magnificent write. It captures beautifully the Angel of the Day. The last four lines of the piece are just fantastic.10
