The Angels Are Singing Poem by Paula Glynn

The Angels Are Singing

Angel feathers scattering across the ground
Angel feathers leaving a legacy
Of the lord above
A soul designed to love
God sending down his white doves
From his luxurious palace above

The angels are singing
Love God is bringing
Because the angels
Sing glory to God
The angels free all from pain
Where they make the mad sane

Angels sleep in pure white light
Love an eternal emotion
They do not deny or fight
God an ocean of consciousness
Cleansing white light
An energy not disappointing
Helping all to fall asleep at night

God creating sponges
In his heavenly bath
For angels are like bubbles:
Giving a scent of perfume
Where there is no fear or doom
And soap destroys that bad smell
Gone: and none too soon

Joy of the toy
When human that angel
Never to hurt another
Never to twist things around
Or seek out and destroy
Because love God does employ

All the angels to sing
Walking with the king
Their mortal life of pain over
Their wonderful new lives
Lucky like a four leaf clover

Angels to be God's immortals
Sending messages
Of hope and unity
Sending a message
That love is always enough
Forgetting tough love.
