The Autumn Evening Poem by Luo Zhihai

The Autumn Evening

The Autumn Evening

In the weak water, floating rose clouds
at a thousand years of wild ferry
sound of river was old
On the wasteland, the cuckoos wept
a touch of setting sun was long
on the ancient road

Flying flowers fell in disorder
I knew autumn moon was thin near the windows
The evening drum was tapped
I just felt the wind into sleeves at night was cold
