The Bahamas - Poem by Sean Munnings
Look at the enchanting blue waters,
behold my majesty.
Smell the salty air;
know that you are next to me.
Taste the cool whimsical sea breeze,
my own gentle arms you embrace.
Touch the sparkling silver sands,
and stroke my ebony face.
Listen to the boastful waves (my heartbeats) ,
as they crash against the shore
and fizzle away.
Know me as Bahamas;
a sacred love to enjoy
