The Bitter Losing - Poem by salina daarud

Tonight I lose you
with bitter words
We draw apart.
In a minute,
you are gone,
Leaving me alone.
Our words resound
In my heart.
I love you and
Never asked for
it to happen.
All I can feel is
a lonliness cold and biting,
a lonliness that freezes
the heart into
no emotion.
With a single word
You turn from me
and are gone
Forever.
