The Black Color Poem by Varsha M

The Black Color

Rating: 5.0

I mesmerize with all
That looks colorful and wavy
But the truth is that
I am black all the time.

Dazzling every attire
With my look so brilliant
I stood there holding my head high
To the paint black that defined me.

The very black which promises
To stay all the time I needed
Because she knew color is not to argue
But the feel that you hold within that value.

Where ever I go all the time
People fear my very presence
Because it defines things
That are associated with sorrows.

But the other aspect of mine
Brings a great smile
For now I am the one
Who keeps bad omen afar.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote a poem on black which I modified. In this poem I have tried to bring out the beauty of black that we admire and the places we use it as sorrow.
