The Blizzard Is White With Fury

the blizzard is white with fury

in the foreign novel

you read in the hot summer

trying to get cool

thinking of the blizzard

how difficult for the heroine

you think but you long for a breeze

you dream of ice cubes big as glaciers

swimming in your drink

you fan yourself with japanese fans

splashed with peonies

and sip on lemonade ceaselessly, so as to withstand

this summer

turning another page as if it were snowy drifts

you bury your face in the laureling sleet.
