The Blood Color Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Blood Color

The blood color
Thursday,11th April 2019

The red color
represents danger
it has lost its honor
we have gone too far

even though it's color is red
it has remained dead
in our vanes
our wishes are yet not defined

it has become useless
that can be seen on the face
we have become crooked
we are a gentleman on the face but inside naked

we kill human beings
and try to bring
cruelty on the fore
not feeling any sore

it boils not at an atrocity
it hots up nowhere at an injustice
it never shakes at the breach of promises
it smiles at the foe's demise

we are no more massagers
but mercenaries
cause so many miseries
yet call a "champion of humanitarian" activities
