The Blood Is Thicker Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Blood Is Thicker

Blood is thicker

I don't know
Where to form opinion and go
You just call me "O. dear son"
You are real and right person

How to judge him as daddy?
He had left already
Mom had to do all herself
He was, in my mind, true selfish

Whatever may be the reason!
Here he was standing with me and seen
He was full of kindness and recognized
My presence and happily realized

Anyhow, I need not go deep
And keep
Hostile posture
As I was not made sure

Both had good personality
That any beings may have in reality
Both might have developed differences
And the result was bitter separateness

I was their product of lovely union and happiness
I could notice shine on his face
The blood is thicker than water
Soon or later I need to think fresh and alter opinion
